So it is hard only 10% of mornings?
are we still talking about cars?
It's my daily driver, can be next morning and I have a hard one, sometimes all weekend and no hard one. Can't fathom it. Might get garage to take a look.....So it is hard only 10% of mornings?
There are a few potential causes, how long the car has been standing, whether other vacuum devices have been operated. Even if you pressed the brake pedal a couple of times after switching off. On my BMW for example, you can get a couple of applications before the assistance drops off, but it is always unassisted until start up in the mornings.
Well, I was, there is no accounting for the minds on this forum

Well I hope they find the problem and it is an easy fix. Given it’s random nature I don’t think you have a leak as it would be hard every time.
Right, I’m following Lifes2short over to the tits...
Does the 'gear engaged' bit after you switch off use vacuum? Or the hill hold thingy?
