Not *necessarily*.....

The 17 December 2024 is exactly five years since parliament first met after the last general election, in 2019. If an election has not been called by this point, parliament would be automatically dissolved and the election would take place 25 working days later. This means the latest date for the next general election is 28 January 2025.

A quiet meal with Mrs Scaf at one of our favourite restaurants early enough to get home well before it gets too silly.

I imagine we will toast 2024 tomorrow.

Good lawd we are out in front of our headlights on this one...as it's only noon on the east coast of Leftpondia. That said, somewhat similar plans: stay home...but there are Things on the agenda. Including assembling a new shelving unit for all my (*&^%$#$%^ car parts!

Top tip: Get your kids dressed up and then play the 2023 countdown at 8pm. They'll think they've stayed up late, had a magical evening and you can still go to bed at a sensible time
