Hi Guys this is my new Grancabrio!

Although its heavier than my previous 4.2GT, the 4.7 engine feels so much more refined and even the gear changes on this are different. One of the big difference i noted was the exhaust note despite both having the sports exhaust.
On my 4.2 i replaced the stock exhaust with the 4.7 GTS one- it was loud with lots of crackles and popping.
On this 4.7 Grancabrio, i opened opened the valves by unplugging the vacuums and the exhaust is obviously just as loud but far fewer crackles and popping than the 4.2. Is this due to the engine?? They both have the same exhausts! I preferred the old setup with my 4.2GT

Also I wonder if anyone has got rid of the yellow reflectors in the front headlights yet? I dont like the vinyl wrap covering them idea and the GT sport lights are expensive (4K!!), Any other ideas?

Finally, what do you guys think about spraying the wheels on this gloss black? Will it go with the blue? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

P.S on a funny note- when my wife saw the car she commented "Oh thats a nicer colour than your old one.... Is this one DIESEL? !!!!!!)

What a beautiful car and colour combination.

Don't change the colour of the wheels though! It looks fantastic as it is. (don't end up driving round in a drug dealers car!)

Haha... Definately don't want that image.

Yeah the roof is blue... Think it looks better with the blue roof as it matches the bodywork!

Just hate the yellow indicators at the front!!

I agree with the roof - dark blue cars and dark green for that matter need a self coloured roof.

The yellow on mine is orange FWIW. Doubt that improves it if it's a problem for you!

Gloss black wheels......This may surprise a few as all know my love for black wheels but in this instance as its a dark blue and the elegance of your car I would go grey rather than black.......

Agree - gun metal metallic grey. Had mine done on the M3 and it cost £75/wheel to enamel bake the color on. Any other attempt to change the colour will, in time cost you more because the soot from the brakes will eat the spray job. Bake the new colour on.

You have an exquisite car there, best of both worlds. Verts rule!

Congrats on your GC. I beliebe the rims are nice.

What did you answer to your wife about the diesel thing?..."Oh yes honey, would you like to fill it?..." Joking only :)

Silver wheels look great on your car, so classy. I'm not a big fan of black wheels but on my red GT/s I think silver would look silly.
