Was asked by a couple on pointers to remove the side skirts, this is for a GS but probably the same for 4200.
They are secured in the following places:
Under kick plate: remove 3 screws from kick plate, using trim tools so not to cause damage lever edge of plate up to reveal 5 philips head screws
Front wing: I removed wheel to improve access but there may be enough by putting steering to full lock. Move wheel arch lining out of the way.
Secured here by 2 M6 hex head bolts into U-clips. Require 10mm socket and various extensions as assess is poor.
Rear quater: again I removed wheel, move lining, secured by 1 bolt as above.
Under side: remove 2 trim plugs, use 5mm Allen remove Allen bolts, you need to get your head right under as they are not central in the opening and quite deep.
Sill: remove 9 Philips head screws.
It should now be free and just drops down.
I took precaution by masking the contact areas to avoid any damage.
Also required a few new M6 U-clips so best to have some ready.
