Think it looks lovely and well priced from a dealer...I am however finding black a bugger to keep clean!!!

Black does get the deepest shines, but hard to stay that way...silver never really has that deep lustre but can hide a bit of dust easily.

I think next time round I'll try to get a dark red or one of the lovely blues that Maserati do.

Klive commented on how shiny my 4200 looked, even though it had clearly been used. He was probably being polite :)

silver never looks it's best in photos and generally comes over quite flat but after seeing outrun's well cared for GS I agree you need to see silver in the flesh to really appreciate it.
as a side note, just noticed the silver 3200 in underworld...........guess that film was not made in the US then?

I do miss her Frank.....Unforyunately with M£ is worth around 7500/8000 and I can not see a good 3200 hitting those figures..Was almost tempted to go a see that cat car that was up for £7900 but then I had a word with myself to stop thinking with my heart......

might be just me, but for any kind of "extra" like a 2nd/3rd car I believe you should always lead with your heart not your head, but for you maybe not the 3200, you have been there and ime things are rarely as you remember if you return to them........especially if your memories are so positive of your silver goddess!

Yes agree Greg.....

But...5995.........If its just a bonnet then OK but then what is hidden that you can not see.....manual and silver my fav combination....Horrid black grill.....

you can bet there is more to it than bonnet. description says to me neglected so looks a really good bet for a money pit andy, listen to the head not the chimp this time!
shame though, I am a sucker for the red leather finish which is the only bit about my alfa GT I prefer to the green goddess. there is a silver/red leather on pistonheads just now but at 12k and on the big service mileage again might turn out to be more expensive than a 2nd car should really be. personally, I do not see the prices on 3200s going anywhere but up from herein, which is good if you have one but not so much if you are looking unfortunately...........but your not looking.....right?:saifi3:

It a grand too much. At 5k you can risk it as the breaking value is similar if it turns out to be not cost effective. The picture of the engine looks
poor with perished hoses etc etc.

A good project but only if you're capable and patient otherwise, the usual rules apply. Get the best you can afford.
