GS not selling

Sounds like you've done all you can do - sad really, that today we're forced to question milage, even when supprted by docs! A few years ago, I sold a 2 owner car with something like 70k on, full Vauxhall history. 12 months later, I saw it for sale with 69k, FULL Vauxhall history! LOL! How's that then?
This GS is not for me and it does look like a nice colour combo. If I was looking into it, I'd be asking if the 68k service done and has it had the annuals between now and the service Nov 08. It did 10k in the 14 months after its last service, 4.5 of which were done in the first month of that (though I might need to check my maths!). Perhaps the owner decided that doing 1k miles a week wasn't sustainable and tucked it away for weekend use, from December!
I wouldnt mind knowing where the 90k rumour came from too. That could undermine a sale quick sharp!
Good luck with the puchase. Personally speaking, I'd be keen to hear what you think of the car when you see it. If its tidy and all checks out, a GS for £20k is a lot of car!

When I enquired about this car the 68k service had NOT been done. When I asked Bill McGrath how much it would be - £2300 including VAT.
So this isnt really a £22k car. Its a £24.5k car minimum...unless he will drop the price to 20k which he may well do given how long its been for sale. I was wondering if the price had gone up because he had had this work done.
Current owner has had it for only a year I think. If you can live with a red car, IMHO the Strattons one is a better bet for £23,500.

Well, close to. Expired 18/12, next one was 3/1. Granted, thats the holiday season so easily explained! Especially if its a summer/toy.
Surely the owner is a member on here and/or MF? If they're on PH, surely they must be amongst us.

Welcome GSMCV...............We are have been talking about this car for months and months and you are the first one to come along with some good detail instead of hear say.......Its odd why it hasn't sold buut hope all goes well and you get yourself a bargain and its a good one.........Good luck and keep us informed.

Although its nice to have a low miler ,i'll re-iterate again , these engines are well capable of getting into the 100's without problems , providing they are maintained , now the model has been discontinued, mileage against price will matter less and less , more important to get in there and enjoy one whilst you can still get the best from them , im luck enough to have over 35K maserati smiles shared between two cars and i can honestly say that ive thoroughly enjoyed every single one
