Think he is saying that the his is unhappy retailing it given the service history gaps and he does not want something so fast/uncomfortable/jerky for his own use.

Alternatively he has had it checked over and found it needs few £k spent on it?

Check the service history to see if it is a problem - most Masers have gaps - and then get it inspected. Great colour combi to my mind.

Was thinking that BB... He's bought it and now realises it needs money spending maybe... Looks OK condition wise...

Thing is all these cars need ££ spent so it's still worth a look - clutch, brakes, service, MOT...

Trade sale...no warranty = you must check it out professionally and have a war chest and fund a warranty. ..given the potential issues be better to buy a good one in the first place from Dicky G or the like which have a good history etc
