The Gross glockner pass I drove last summer as part of the 50 car Rally For Heroes is actually in Austria. The pictures here do not do it justice, but trust me it is on the must re-visit list for me. The 3200 was epic up and down here (then up again) :D

We also did the stelvio and several others i forgot the names of.

Any more I should add to the list?

thansk rossyl - think we did the Grimsel pass too.

Try the Fluela pass from Davos to Bormio. We did it on the Modena trip and it's a hoot.

All of Modena trip, and back through Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, and Belgium, with the exception of Brussels ring road at 4pm! It's what these cars were made for.

I need to do a road trip this year. I might try and put together an itn based on people's suggestions.

Route Napoleon is great, but it's the roads off the main drag that are even more epic. Just turn off and explore as they are often empty and less congested than the Route itself.

While out that way it is worth going for a run across this

I would love to take part in a road trip.....love driving on the continent apart from the Brussels ring at 4pm ;-)

Maybe a long weekend in Germany? A visit to Sinsheim http://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/en
and Frankfurt http://www.klassikstadt.de/ website is only in german, Klassikstadt is a bit a like shopping mall.

I organized a similar trip with some friends from the smartcarclub 2 years ago and it was great fun.

I drive through France and around Italy most years, always good, although the gendarme and polizia are now becoming a pain, spoiling the fun, can never understand that when the roads are completely empty, which they are alot of the time going the route to the Frejus

Love driving on the continent but there are equally as good drives in the UK if you get the timing right. We did Lands End to John O Groats in the SZ a few years back and found some stunning roads, a fantastic blast over Glenshee on a beautiful sunny day with just a few tourists to blast past - fantastic.
