Hi,

I've bought this kit for 3200

and the idea is to arrange it to be as this granturismo...

Could anyone do a photoshop to see how it would be?

Any idea to modify?

Remap chiptuning + 50HP +7mkg so 420HP/57mkg, as 996tt...

Not at all, if it's a sacrilege then Granturismo rear is too...

fair enough christophe, each to their own - would not do if we all were the same:unsure: but you cannot expect most members, who in their own way are trying to preserve the marque, to prefer significant looks changes such as a skirt package..........did the response surprise you?

Please don't. You'll limit the market to virtually nil when you come to sell and even if you did get a buyer you'd have to knock loads off the price to tempt anyone.

It's a lot of money to do and even more lost when you sell.

That's just my opinion though.

To do this to an AC is even more sacrilege! Or do you say Sacre Bleu? As in "Sacre Bleu Christophe just defecated on a Trident!"

I guess it's just a case of different tastes. The modified 32/4200 doesn't have the same proportions as the GT, so looks a bit odd, and will look especially odd to us guys who look at these things every day. It was a big decision for me to put facelift parts on my car, but my thought was that it's my car, so my decision. I bit the bullet and now I think it looks good. Hope you have the same outcome : )

Would like to see it in the metal one day if you go ahead, I'd be happy to have my mind changed!

Christophe, don't take offense but we are quite purist with regards to our beloved Maseratis.

If you want your car to look like a GranTurismo, buy a GranTurismo and leave the coupe as it was intended.

Vive La France.

Don't take offence, Matt, but from the man who would chop his GS into a 3200, that's a bit rich. There are 3200's on the market : )

I know, Maserati parts, that's what the 4200 should have been, it can always be put back as Maserati created etc.

Looks like what he's doing is reversible.

Its a fair comment Chris and as many of you know I am struggling to come to terms and take the grinder to the GS so maybe I will take my own advise here.

Good man. Grinder was never a good idea. On such finely crafted beasts one should always go for the plasma cutter.
