Gransport calling

Hi,
aspiring Gransport owner here. I’ve looked at Gransports on and off for about 6 years (ended up with a 911 last time - sorry!) but haven’t yet felt the stars align.
Car history is long and varied, including TVR, Lotus, Honda, Alpina and Porsche. The key to my enjoyment is tinkering/betterment, which if I’m honest I enjoy at least as much as driving.
I guess I’m fishing at the bottom of the market, looking at the sub £20k cars, to leave headroom for improvement.
I viewed a 2006 but a dented roof is a no-no. Another had a replacement cluster and mileage discrepancy, but the price didn’t reflect. Right now there’s a LHD car which could be of interest and a high mileage car in the classifieds here. I’m not afraid of mileage, currently bringing back to life a VW Transporter with 230,000 on the clock!
Anyway that’s my hello for now. I’ll keep a track of the forums, pick up on what to inspect and look for and hopefully join you as an owner soon.
Ben.

Ben.
Welcome Ben. We started our GS ownership journey in August this year… what a car. Happy to have a chat to share my ‘first three months in’ experiences.

Welcome along Ben.
There's a few of us that like to fettle on here and have completed some major works here on the forum over the last 10 years.
The knowledge is here so Good Luck :)

Welcome.

There’s a project 4200 in the for sale section. It’s a facelift model so has many of the GS “improvements”. Might be worth considering.

Morning Ben. A warm welcome to the forum.

There are a couple of interesting GS in the cars for sale section at the moment and another couple due on the market soon. If you aren’t afraid of mileage then this one might be of interest. It has been around the forum for some time and looks very nice.

Whoa- thats some serious “handbrake does donkey dong” action right there....

Sports Italia you say? :p

Welcome. As above a few good GS around at the moment at tempting prices and including an MC-Victory with Richard Grace at the moment as well as the LE has just listed. Spoilt for choice with a couple of forum cars as well.

Ben.

Big welcome to the forum. Two cars on the forum for sale with high miles but you wouldn’t know it to look at them. Both under 20K and well
Looked after. So much car for the money.

oh and for the love of god, avoid these PPI things, there was a huge scandal a few years ago. All I read on here is PPI this and PPI that. I'm amazed the callcentre clan haven't mopped this lot up yet. #PPIPPI

I think you must be confusing your ppi's with your ppi's. Its a ppi you want for a vehicle purchase not a ppi Spoons.
