Good price = quick sale.

With the older coupes now - whats peoples opinion of value in relation to reg year as opposed to mileage and condition ?

Reg year with the GS makes absolutely no difference as they were all manufactured in Modena in 2006, just some sat in warehouses waiting to be registered.

What is more important is mileage/service history/condition and spec.

The highest spec, the MCV will be well up into the £40k's along with the GS Spyders

GS LE's £26-£32k, mileage/service history/condition dependant.

Tech GS early to mid £20k's again, mileage/service history/condition dependant.

There is always the odd £17k special that comes along but will need money spending on it, my advice is to get the best example with the lowest mileage and not try and think you can do the bits over time and save money, you simply won't.

Dealers vs private, I pretty much always go private from the enthusiast, they tend to invest money in the car where as dealers won't and are only in it for the profit but I am handy with the spanners so can do a lot of the work myself.

The GS should actually be on the rise but for some reason, everything else has gone but not the GS, think it may just be too young and need another 5 years, one thing I don't worry about is depreciation as I simply don't see this as a factor in GS ownership.
