Ive just got my Ghibli back from the dealer (fixing a niggly problem with the cruise control light). During which time they gave me a Ghibli hybrid.
I had it for a couple of weeks and covered around 650 miles
It was fairly low specced, but with some improvements on the interior. Larger centre screen which was very nice, and more sensible gear selector (they have got rid of "N" and makes operation a lot simpler). What they have also changed are the analogue speedo and rev counter. They are still analogue but look a bit cheaper IMHO
As for performance, its not lacking with 330BHP and its got quite linear delivery, which is nice. It accelerates nicely but there is very little sound to it, so lacks any aural excitement (even the diesel in sport mode sounds better)
It is also down about 20% on fuel economy (comparing my diesel with the hybrid), I averaged around 31, which in itself isnt too bad for a heavy saloon with 330BHP on tap).
Overall its the way things have to go, its ok but wouldnt rush to swap mine.
