On the Ghibli I have two buttons, one for Sport and one for Skyhook. I always have Sport presses on and Skyhook off.

Have I misunderstood the buttons?

It maybe me who is wrong. It's good that the two buttons are separate as they are not on the GT/GC/QPV. I would have presumed that the skyhook button just regulates how firm the suspension is. It is continually variable but with two base settings with the skyhook on older Maseratis' and the magnetic ride on Ferraris' and Audis'. On those cars it is always on.

Never heard of switching the skyhook off before, strange to be able to switch an electronic suspension off..??

Aaahh, so there are individual buttons for sport suspension and sport gear change then by the sound of it, I would have thought they are best together..??

The Sport button on my GTS controls:

-suspension
-gearchange speed
-MSP
-exhaust valves

Personally I would prefer to control all four separately like you can on M series BMWs.

It's a thought Bob, but if you want to suddenly go for it, I prefer to press one button and floor it, rather than deciding which buttons to press to get a move on, just my opinion mind..!!

BMW have thought of that and give two programmable buttons to hit in a hurry.

Sorting myself out with a test drive in August. Looking forward to it, not sure if it's the car for me but going to give it a try.

Seems things are working as intended.

Monday, 12 May 2014 – After a successful first quarter, Maserati continues to thrive with high sales volumes in the UK and Europe. April proved to be another positive month, particularly for the UK, with 130 units registered, a 665% increase over the same period in 2013.

The significant increase in sales has been seen across all major European markets (Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom) with a total of 507 units registered in April and an average increase of 333% over the same month in 2013, mostly attributed to the recent introduction of the new Ghibli executive saloon and the marque’s flagship luxury Quattroporte, both now featuring diesel powerplants.

Year to date, these markets have registered a total of 1,837 vehicles, an increase of 420% over the same period in 2013. The UK in particular has recorded 317 registrations year to date, an increase of 205% over last year.
