The japanese ghibli cup were fitted with the 2800cc engine and the ecu was slightly tweaked.
27 units (confirmed by F Collina) have been sold.
Changes to normal, by increasing the boost pressure, demonstrate 305ps/6100rpm and 43.5mkg/3650rpm. The final gear ration is lowered about 6%. Undercarriage was lowered about 30mm is also encased damper spring also, but this also increases the negative camber of the front wheel toe-in, at the rear. It is also said that each Bush also has been solidified, but how is not clear. Tire size is one size larger F 215/45ZR17, and R 245/40ZR17, mounting aluminum wheels made by speedline. Brakes are also larger with Brembo calipers.
I have one of these 27, and I know another one in Germany.
I think there is a third one, somewhere in Sweden.
I had another ghibli, a GT 2.0, and there is a world of differences between the 2 cars. The torque of the 2.8 and the reduced final gear ratio transform completely this beast!
As far as I know, there is 3 ghibli cup 2.8 RHD, but without the tweaked ecu and with the standard gear ratio.
