As a youngster did many trips with my father collecting Fulvias from Italy it was certainly a good time.
Seeing the cars in the workshops and going on events especially the RAC Rally when it was a proper event was a real experience.
It made me follow the Motor trade and also got me into Rallying myself.
Certainly have.that's fantastic, you must have some amazing and unforgettable memories of those days

We lived in Sedgley between Dudley and Wolverhampton until 77.Was your Dad in a motor club in the Midlands?
He might have know mine, he was in Quinton Motor club, rallied Minis and Escorts and later went on to be Clerk of the Course for the Sutton Park stages of the RAC.

He was overseas for the rest of his days after that.
Interesting my Dads name was Bob Wilkinson of BWME Rowley Rd Dudley.We lived in Halesowen, my Dad worked at Hunt Brother’s Foundry in Oldbury in the 70s so not far from you. He stopped rallying in 77 when I was born.
