Footrest in a Gransport ?

Afternoon everyone, I was wondering if there should be a metal footrest for the left foot in the front drivers side. The carpet seems to be formed to the shape and there are 4 screws that seem to be doing nothing.

Not as standard, no. I have seen them and TBH I dont think they look very nice either.

Cheers for that, I just never noticed the screw heads, I suppose it's something to do with undoing the trim.

It was a bizarre optional extra - I have one fitted to my 2004 Gransport, original owner's choice. I think it cost a couple of hundred quid at the time. I am still trying to work out why any passenger would need to brace given my smooth driving style!

They can be bought from Eurospares for not a great deal. I like them, especially in a GS, provided you have a suitable interior colour. It adds to the sporty interior style.
