Flickering screen

When I left Wilton House this afternoon, my screen wouldn't turn on. When it finally did, it showed the Maserati emblem, then black screen, then a faded Maserati emblem, then black screen again. I tried restarting the car but that didn't help. I then tried holding the on/off button. Same. Then the 'darker' button as it suggested in the booklet but..... you guessed it, same. So I drove 2 hours with the screen turning on then off. Any ideas?

Which model car, can't remember what you have, sorry.

There are a number of cases (small number) of the infotainment system crashing and requiring a reflash...but its a dealer only repair.
