Fitting Eurolites (headlamp beam deflectors)

Hi, I debated it for a while and decide against fitting them and just had them in the care should overseas police complain.

I read that...
Xenons do not cause the same blinding when driving on the otherside, due to positioning and nature of the light.

The heat from the Xenon could cause the beam deflectors to damage the plastic on the front of the headlights.

The two were enough to convince me.

Been asked a number of times but as above the 'kick' to the beam is less pronounced on HID lights but it does exist.

I run a strip of colour matching tape across the light where you see the two lines in the cover...knkwing how Jonny Foreigner likes to cash in on us drivers it one less thing to worry about.

Thanks guys. I don't have Xenons so do your comments still apply? Is this the consensus for the trip to LeMans?
