First proper drive

I picked up my new Gransport two weeks ago, but haven't really had a chance to drive it properly.........until this morning. Up early and out of the door by 5.30. It's a lovely morning up here and I've just spent 1.5 hours tearing up the empty Cheshire countryside roads.

What a fantastic car. Don't get me wrong, there are things that could be improved, but the sum of the whole is just brilliant. It feels so "together", goes exactly where you point it, and copes with weight transfer in corners so well. Feels very controlled and stable.........and fast. I've driven quite a few different cars on those road, eg AM Vantage, Lotus Esprit V8, Lotus Evora S. None put a smile on my face quite like the Gransport just has. Really didn't want to head home.

In repayment for the pleasure she has just given me, seems only far to spend the rest of the morning giving her a really good clean and polish inside and out. Hopefully will take and post some decent photos later.

Just been for a thrash around the block in mine as it would have been rude not to. Same old same old, still as awesome as ever. I trundled by three 'plastic' policemen with a radar gun who gave me a good staring at, probably because they heard me tearing up the by-pass at full throttle not far behind them and they couldn't do anything about it! A good day.

Cleaned the cars this morning and just got back from a nice thrash in the 360 blooming lovely out there and no rozzers in toe.

Took a break from packing/fridge moving for a burble round London and can't be happier with the comments, waves, thumbs up and general appreciation of the car. Managed to put my foot down once or twice in tunnels to clear out my ears. Big grin.

Just been for thrash in mine and it was a treat. Met a red 575M coming off the robin hood roundabout who followed me so had to take it up the A34. Boy did we have some fun. He left me once we hit the treble's but didn't shake me off. Very nice to see two Italian motors actually being driven properly. Had NO ASR after the drive so it was hard enough! :D
