Right ive been going over it, and we cannot have a shared folder within a shared folder, i would need to make separate folders and share them.
so i will need to sort some other way of filing the files.. suggestions welcome

Ok Dropbox is all Cleaned up with folders for everything so far. currently we have Posters, Catalogos, production lists, Alternative parts, Fabrication, New/used Buying inspection lists, Owners Manuals, Art, Parts pictures and fuse lists, Repair and service manuals, Upgrades.!
Well over 500mbs of information there. as yet no one has decided to "store" any navigation dvd's for there own personal use.

I have noticed that a few CD disc images have appeared in the sub folder for 4200 Sat Nav Backups.
It may help those who are using the storage space for their backups if they added to the file name the appropriate year.

Now that I've got the hang of this, having had dropbox for a few years(!) I'll upload disc images for my own personal storage. I'll just make sure I've got them in the correct folder...
