As above, I'm going to FoS next week for the first time so wondered if the collective had any advice to be borne in mind? We are staying in Eastergate about 15 mins east so which car park is best, what time to arrive/leave, things essential to see etc.

TIA.

Generic stuff really, don't know about Covid controls this year:

Wear comfy shoes/trainers
Ensure you have plenty of phone/camera battery/memory/film.
If you eat in the food village get there before the lunchtime crowds arrive.
Don't always believe the prices offered by merchandisers, especially for high ticket items (pitches are expensive so they need to recoup asap).
If it's dry the car parks can be very dusty. If wet.....
Take water, especially if it's a warm day, and keep a bottle or two in the car for when you get back.
Some clubs/organisations have hospitality areas which are handy to rest the pins and get a brew.
Take lightweight waterproofs if the weather looks iffy as it can be a bit of a hike back to the car, and shelter on site may be limited.
There's usually traffic controls in the area so your direction of travel/car park choice may be limited; Matt will know more as it's his turf.

Post lots of pics on the forum for those of us who won't be there this year.

I would personally avoid buying any food on site... its often poor quality and over priced.

I had at the Revival a few years back a filled giant Yorkshire with bits of beef etc... £25. cold and bland.

If you can, take a picnic.
