Looking at the moment Dicky, but it has to have xenon, CC box, Cruise, Parking aid, heated seats, NOT silver and the 2005 style...I know I'm too fussy.

Very nice Dicky.......The only bit I would want is the GS grill which was an option........But that can be added I suppose........Good luck with selling her.

Cheers Andy, I've always liked the louvred grille, but I suppose only really because it demonstrates that the car is a better, later model. Aesthetically, the Gransport grille looks better in my opinion. I assume that when they were spec'd, the louvres were standard and the mesh grille was an option. I haven't seen many 2005 MY cars with the Gransport grille.

They Argento does look lovely, as we've previously discussed.

I didn't realise that cruise was not present as standard...another option to watch out for.

Dicky - I don't suppose you know where i could get a list of the options that were avilable in 2004/2005 on these.

My hunt continues!

The list of options was unbelievably long so best to focus on the ones you want.

Yep, most had the slats Dicky....The very last brochures for the 4200 had the GS grill so I think it may have become standard on the last ones..........Marks vintage has one and it does look better.....Think they are around £500 to change.

I still think the earlier nose is more elegant than the later GS type. Personal choice I guess.

Mine has the mesh but in dark grey. Highlights the trident nicely and a little less bling. I prefer it but horses for courses.

I know where you're coming from Ian, just as I've posted earlier, and said before that I prefer the wider grille, it's probably down to the fact that mechanically, it means it's an improved car. Aesthetics alone, I can see your point, I think the earlier car has a simpler elegance to it, tough decision as to which I actually think looks better in itself. We are talking very small tweaks here but purely on looks, I'd agree that the smaller grille does look sleeker.

I have to agree...

....biased!

I think the chrome mesh grill looks too much like a Jaguar!

Point made in the above post, just noticed you're from Holmfirth, my dad used to own the Vic, I hail from about 5 miles up the road :)

You are obviously a discerning man with good taste!
