I wish they would deal with convoys of trailbikes that drive down our small lane at ear splitting DB's every chuffing weekend.
That’d be me then…! :f5:
If it’s a legal lane, there’ nothing you can do mate. I won’t stop as you know you’re only going to get an earful. I’ve had people drive at me, put barbed wire across trails, standing in the lane and waving stick s and such…
I have some sympathy though. 4 bangers are incredibly loud. I’ve a gentle 2T…:byee:

Used to love my BMW G450X but she was factory spec but 4 bangers do have a bit of a bark.
On a plus side no smelly blue smoke ;)

It's so boring isn't it. The left wing BS that we are having to endure.

The EU block exemption regulation states that as long as a modification is completion to similar or better than manufacturer standards, then it is OK. Changing a poor quality OEM exhuast for a stainless steel version is clearly an upgragde on OEM. So Larini, Novitec and the like are far better than OEM and should be OK.

The sooner we all stand up to these leftie Wan**ers, the better,

LOL....never used to be an issue here years back. Just seems a body or club have added it as part of a route and publicised it. So has become much more popular. We saw an electric bike come by which was rare and nice. No noise disturbance at all.

It is not just during the weekend but weekdays as well. I just don't think most people realise or care the disturbance it causes. Might be totally legal and not much we can do about it but doesn't make it right morally I guess. I'd guess many would not like it in reverse if I turned up to their house 2 or 3 times a week and made a load of noise.

Probably is amplified more here as it is a very small quiet lane in a very quiet location. Some riders ride slower/quieter and more respectfully but many just race by much faster than is really safe or appropriate for this lane.

Having ridden dirt bikes since I was a teenager in all sorts of environments I would rather do organised events a lot safer.
Legally riding in the countryside where there can be walkers horse riders and cyclists is quite sketchy and those three don't like motorcycles trust me.
Then there's the things they're across the lane to get you off your bike and that's if your lucky.
That was in New Zealand too.

Its possible. There are a lot of pressures on off-road access here in the UK. Powered access was probably reduced by some >60% in one fell swoop, when NERC Act came in. Ramblers made sure of that. The sad thing, from my point of view anyway, is that most all of the objections leveled at use, certainly by powered 2-wheelers, is unfounded. Well, that is until you factor in that usage increases on what's left, and results in 'bikers' then chosing to ride illegally; although the muppets who do it, probably were always going to do it !
As for a club using it, you might be right. Id contact the local TRF group and say something. If it's them, they should be approachable, and flexible enough to be a little more considerate. Large groups are very noisey. Like Phil says, riding alone isnt generally recommended by clubs; but larger groups is/should be. As too speeds and noise levels...The TRF arent beyond reproach, and I see huge groups riding out under the banner- but they are supposed to represent those with a responsible take on the conservation of green lanes, and ignoring you isnt in their best interests...
The TET-Trans Europe Trail, was uplaoded online a few years back. There was objection from every quarter. That bikers would descend on the quiet lives of peasants and hobos alike, throughout the whle EU block ( you can ride from Norway to Morrocco off-road essentially- or split and do Italy ) This hasnt really happened. I guess I think there might be a link between the two situations but whatever. If its legal, it's legal. But anti-social inconsiderate b0ll0x is just that !
Depends how much time and effort you are happy to sink into sating your umbrage in search of satisfaction. It would probably be pretty sol destroying to chase the scotes, one number plate at a time !!?
