However, the chaps at Uncle Tom's were up for a challenge. And it was. At one point there were 4 of us leaning on assorted bits. Much heat and banging.

£72 (An hour's labour + VAT) and a dozen beers and it's all done up snug.

Seems crisper on the throttle, and by god that centre piece weighs a ton!

Sounds rather spiffing as well

But......

I think I need *MORE*!

Yes, much crisper throttle, the silencing on that bit seems to be particularly egregious.

So next stage is some kind of valved system. It's still too quiet in the cabin, but I quite like my neighbours, so on the list for next year
