encounter with a lorry:(

I had a disastrous encounter with a lorry this morning, had to swerve to avoid it and hit the kerb result: 1 tyre shot (sorted now), and 2 alloys badly scuffed. Does anyone now of a good wheel refurb service in surrey? I was thinking of getting one of those mobile services but was wondering if anyone had had experience on this forum...

Sorry to hear that but it could have been much worse. I have never had much luck with any of the mobile services, I would recommend sending them to Prestige or Lepsons for a really good job and if you are ok to leave your car in your garage on decent axle stands for a week or so.

And you will definitely want to get the suspension geo looked at, it doesn't take much to put it out

BTW:

Kwik Fit has a promotion on Pirelli P0 rosso: 115 gbp fully fitted... I had a look a few months ago and it was over 200gbp/tyre...

I'd avoid the Pirelli, check out my thread on tyres and alignment. My P Zeros came off looking like this...
