Electrical issues

Evening,

Hoping some of you can shed some light on some electrical issues I am experiencing. The air bag light has come on on the dashboard, this occurred as I was giving it a bit of welly when joining the motorway, okay so I am thinking a problem with the airbag, however now my windows will jot open using the switch inside the car, although they do drop when opening the door, also my indicators have stopped working but work when the hazard warning light is operated or the car is locked using the key.

They have to be linked for all these electrical issues to occur all at the same time, can anyone offer any guidance?.

Kind Regards

Stuart

Hmm, tricky. The *obvious* start point is battery, although I *seem* to recall someone else having an almost identical issue.

Have you tried doing a battery reset?

How old is the battery? And have you tried a reset as that tends to sort a lot of niggles.

Evening gents, cheers for the comments.
Yes, tried the battery reset, this allowed me to close the window when it was opened. I am thinking relays.
The battery has never been changed since I have had it, the car has just had a full service and MOT at Dick Lovett, Swindon, I would like to think they would have picked up the battery if it was an issue. They pick up every other tiny thing and charge a fortune...lol
Does anyone know which relays I can check, I am assume they are the ones in the battery compartment....???

Multiple relay failure would seem far less likely than your battery deciding it's going to have a lie down.

Equally I'd not be surprised if DL didn't check it, and even if they did, it might well have had a cell go bad in the mean time.

I have only had it back two weeks but things do fail. Just been told there is a set of fuses under the front passenger carpet, will be checking those tomorrow.
Is there a way to check relays..??

Good morning all, thankfully after some advice last night, was informed there was a fuse panel underneath the front passenger carpet seat, fond a defective fuse which when replaced, all the electrical problems disappeared..awesome..!!!
Thanks for your help.
