Can't remember where I read it but 26 hours to charge 60kwh is what they quote on the camc website , a model X is 100kwh so my point stands, *** useless .

The initial post I quoted was a motorhome with a 120 mile range so it is quite likely you'd arrive with a low battery , being a 3.5t van I'd guess it'll have a 100kwh battery so 44 hours to charge full or 11 hours to 25% or 30 miles which might get you to a fast chargerWell, 2.3kw is isn’t 200w and 26 hours for 100% isn’t overnight for 3%. Now I could point out that when you have an EV you always leave home with a full tank of electrons and so the likelihood of having charge from empty is quite low. But I appreciate that that’s a balanced view you don’t want to hear.
All this proves to me is that if you own a caravan, and don’t want to be bothered to got somewhere with a proper charging point, then an EV is a bad choice due to the caravan club being electrical tight arses. But to be fair, going on a holiday where emptying a tank of your own poo is one of the activities isn’t high in my list of priorities either. So it takes all sorts.

So back to my original post , utterly useless

As you were
Yeah pick a pile of dog **** up just after she’s come out the nail barAll on PPI with their blingy trainers and a dog in the Mrs' handbag...you know the type
You have absolutely no evidence to support the suggestion that a camper with 120 miles of range would have a 100kwh battery. What Nayf was referring to was a classic conversion, which patently wouldn’t have space for such a device. Anyway. Whatever. If you want to cherry pick details to support your view, that’s your look out. Don’t let facts weigh you down.
i have customers asking for up, to 3 chargers per house now so if falls down right there 3 x 7kw chargers plus running the house
pop gos the incoming main fuse hence the dno asking for a g99 application before you install one
Only if you have 5G as your router won't be working either...... Treadmill dynamo anyone? How's anything going to work if, like our neighbours, you have 4 cars (mum, dad, two 20-something kids) who all go out to work in the morning and drive several miles to and from their work and you all have leccy cars?
I guess you'll have to watch Corrie on your mobile in the evening. In the dark.

There is potential (no pun intended) for yet more pain:The future is electric cars…. If you can afford to run them!
