ECU remapping

Just finished a great info session with a company called "Relentless Performance" located in Vancouver BC Canada. They are saying that they are able to get up to a 50hp gain with their remapping (even slightly more with exhaust mods in place). They have lots of pictures showing dyno readings that support that fact, but you'll need to deal with them as I can't post them on a public site. (I thinb there're international locations, but you'll need to look up your closest location.)
The guy I was in contact with even noted that their lead tuner (based in Florida I believe) has the record in North America for the fastest BMW M4 and X5M! The good news is they are able to remap for $1000, but the bad news is he said that price will be going up at some point. I can't confirm that this price is consistant at all locations, but the tuner travels from location to location in North America to ensure a perfect job. Pretty intriguing stuff here!
Being that this is in my back yard (Vancouver BC)...I'm going to try it out! I'll let you know when it's done!
(I think there are other worldwide locations, just google it.)

Just passing on the info for anyone interested.

FYI....this is the website near me:

Cheers!

Hi John will be interesting to see what you get from yours and will it be going on the dyno.
Had my first 2002 4200 done by DMS 4 years ago with over 90,000 miles under her belt and got 455.8.
Lot's of people have views on this but I felt it suited my car okay.

I was thinking of starting an ecu upgrade thread these days.
DMS upgrade sounds impressive, but are these numbers valid in the rear life? I can remember the GTS upgrade was too optimistic, according to Dan. What do you think about the DMS for the 4200?
