Hi everyone.

I went to a trackday today at Estoril Circuit and a friend let me use his gopro with an amazing microphone.

Here is the result.

4200-stock "EU spec" cats
-Larini X-Pipe
-Larini stainless rear connecting pipes
-Larini valved rear boxes

First lap slower to warm up the car, then full throttle :)

Great price!
I will take one session when I take my 3200 to Portugal for a paint job :)

the one and only disadvantage of these cars..: you only drive them and never have the chance to listen to the magic from outside. Brilliant.

Car sounds great, almost like a racing car! Makes me want to try something similar with my car.

Thanks for the video.

That's exactly what I think. The only way to hear the sound from the inside is to drive through a tunnel at full throttle!

After hearing this I can only imagine what it would sound like with the sports cats. Maybe some day I'll take the final plunge to the dark side!

Very nice! Sounds like my exhaust, so I'm assuming I also have a Larini.

Have you had it sound tested, as I'm pretty sure it would be too loud for most English circuits, which is a shame with Goodwood just down the road from me.

I never tested the sound levels but what does that mean 'too loud'? You have a sound limit on trackdays? That sounds ridiculous. My car was actually quite silent when compared to a lot of cars there.

****, yes we have sound limits in England - strict ones!

People who live near circuits complain about the noise to the local authority, who then complain to the circuit.

They put a sound meter next to your exhaust to measure the decibel count, usually at 2/3 of max rpm.

Many circuit are only 95db, some are 100, a few are 105.

That's really bad :(
What about competition cars on official races? Are those limited too?

It varies by circuit, but I think they may have a certain number of days each year without limits for competition.

You have to come to Portugal for trackdays then, you can be as loud as you want :)
