Just been given a driving ban for one month. Had a heart attack and defibrilator go off and automatic one month ban. Couldn't have come in the depths of winter when I don't want to take out the cars could it!! Good job they fixed the problem or it would have been a six months ban.
I am very grateful to our NHS for patching me up again.

Sorry to hear that, Phil, but I suppose at least it's for a socially acceptable reason.

Most importantly, get well quickly.

Bit of an understatement but I’ll say the classic “it could be worse”! Get well soon!

Most would be concerned about the heart attack.
But not you Phil! :rofl5:

Whilst in hospital did they give you something for your questionable taste in ladies? (see the Other Birds Thread).

Sorry to hear your news, but glad to hear the NHS have you covered. Hope your recovery to full health goes well and you are safely back behind the wheel soon.

Get well soon Phil, the weather's currently **** so you're not missing much. However, I can't help thinking that it's counter productive, driving a Maserati gets the heart going!

So sorry to hear this has happened to you, but so glad to hear that the defibrillator did its job - just amazing!

Hope you feel better soon ...

Clearly my priorities are nuts, but I would be more bothered by the one month ban than the heart attack! As a type 1 diabetic I have to get my license renewed every three years.
But of course in all seriousness, ultimately health is the most important thing, just! So good that all is ok in that respect.
