Marcus Tandy had one in Elderado...so we all remember that grease ball in the flop soap?

And it did not end well for the car but they did fudge it and never actually blew up the car, prize to the person who identifies the car they actually blew up...it does actually tell you in the clip, Benny will be pleased:

The Isuzu's are very rare these days, did you have the early one or the "handling by lotus"?

Weird isn't it, I thought about buying the Isuzu Pizza!

Another one was a Starion, who remembers those?

My cousin had a Starion in white which he bought as a replacement for his 308!

The 308 was hassle and the Starion was quicker, better built and easier to live with, probably not worth so much these days though!

Remember them? I had two! The wide bodied 2 litre was a nice car especially with a BBR chip and a Garrett T3 turbo.

My dad had a friend who was one of the first Isuzu dealers, he was located in Tottenham in London. He tried to convince my dad to buy one but thankfully (IMHO) he chose to buy another Rover SD1 this time one with the EFi 3500 V8.

Unfortunately I had the early one as couldn't stretch to the later one with the Lotus handling......It was blue and wasn't a bad looking car back then...

I thought they looked ok at the time, a bit like the mk2 Scirocco.

The Starions were sort of ugly but in a cool sort of way for the time, almost scifi like,

Thought the mk1 looked better but didn't dislike the 2 either.

I could never understand why people preferred the golf!

I had a 1979 model, it was my second car and had a Ford Granada bonnet section used as part of the floor pan - they had a slight corrosion issue at the time

I must be sad I liked these too!

Even worse, I have owned one! Well, the Murena which was the Bagheera's successor.
Great car, very pretty and practical with an even more horrid engine than the Delorean.

I've also got a mate with a Delorean, which he never takes out in the rain. Not for reasons of rusting (galvanised chassis), but polishing the rain drops off the stainless steel body is a nightmare.
