Guess it depends on whether you’re happy to soak up the fee in your sale price, as opposed to holding out. And the prep costs involved before selling thru SOR.

It has happened, to members of this forum, in the past.
Tread very carefully with who you decide to go with.

my advice is get an inspection done beforehand - this way you will know what needs doing and should help you price the car accordingly. The best places (the 3 mentioned so far amongst them) will only sell a fully sorted car, as that is what their customers expect. Better to know the cost upfront (apart from the SOR fee) which should help you decide whether SOR, and indeed which SOR provider, is for you
