Thanks Frank, was hoping it would be Auto and I'd run it for a while but I find 3200 manuals hard work as an everyday car.

Hard work Dicky! :road_rage-28:

Now mine has Boomerangs TB and I also have contact less TP as well, my grandma could drive it to Tesco
No worries. Admitadly before these two upgrades it was a little more challenging on and off the throttle.

Lee, love them but I do a lot of short journeys in my everyday car. Had a manual before and found it hard round town. I also have a weak left ankle from an old rugby injury.

Don't talk about weak left ankles ;-)

Let you off Dicky. Hope your well anyway. May see you soon at Autoshield
As I need to try and get my car up there soon for a service and Cambelt.

I must say I wish mine was auto at this point in time though :)

I went to see the car on Friday, it has 36k miles and David had the engine rebuilt when he bought it 3 years ago when it was reading 31k. The clutch plate & cambelt were changed then too. Mechanically, it seemed very good.

Why so cheap then.....36k on it you would think it would be up for 18/19kish....

Are there any pictures of the car anywhere?

Yes, saw that this morning and at first though we had 3 AC for sale at 11k....But no it's a standard car.....Very nice in red though.

Not sure now....It has the red piping of an AC but can nnot red the script on the dash which would say Assetto Corsa.....Is it one..?

Ahhhh....so not a NEW engine............would affect price if a true collector...........

P

The red car is mine, the engine was fitted 40k miles ago, it was a brand new full engine with all ancillaries , not short, not rebuilt. The engine cost me a shade over £10k all in and was supplied on the pallet by Eurospares and fitted by Lancaster Maserati. As for bodywork everything has been done by Fullbridge restorations http://www.fullbridgerestoration.co.uk/with absolutely no expense spared, not by a bodyshop on some sort of south London industrial estate.

*Edited to show link for Fullbridge restorations
