Cycle saddles

So, here am I, on the bike in the garage with this stupid wide **** saddle that constantly pushes me off. Finally got and adapter plate from the US (just don't ask why it can't have a standard seat post)

Recommendations for a cheap, but reasonable saddle in the next couple of hours before I drop £12 on amazon?

Doing about 40 minutes a day, so it's not like I'm Tour de France :)

TIA

Couple of questions.

Are you slipping forward?

What’s the adapter plate look like?

Not sure how to put this; does the bony bit between your knob and *** hurt or go numb?

  1. Yes
  2. Like this:
So any normal saddle should now fit
3) No. Spend too much time falling off the front :D

The seams on that are going to chaff.

if you’re falling off the front your saddle is angled down.

I like the Specialized saddles with the cut out in the middle.

Saddle is horizontal (promise) it's just too bloody wide at the back. I mean it's HUGE

I shall check the Specialized stuff, ta

Thanks for that. I shall see what the uber cheap one is like, and move on as required :)

Much appreciated

Evan elite cyclists have a tendancy to pull themselves forward when trying hard, going around 55-60kph - in a time trial!
