You'r right, I had it new in 1970 on an H plate. Guards red with biege leather, 4.2 standard coupe. Never liked the 2+2, too much glass. Wish I had kept that one as well if only to look at. Very pretty car.

Series 1 in good nick are quite pricey these days when you consider they were well sub 2k when new. Good longterm vintage keeper though.

Yeah i know, therefore i think i can cope with a 1.5 series someday. It would be a great restoration project, but far too pricey.

It might be but I think it maybe earlier. It is the glass plaque on the wall outside Panninis Maserati museum in Modena.
