I am tempted but he is certainly not eloquent, and that makes me think about if he has the intelligence to be able to write the software he describes (badly).

That said £7 is a coffee and pastry and I could do with eating one less of those!

Someone could take a punt and if it works copy and send to us all!!

More that likely, 'junk status', but worth a punt, just splashed out on it. Will try it out on some of the old bangers around here first though!

I took a look around search with car diagnostic software and it appears everyone on eBay is selling it! Varying quantity of disks but I suspect they are all the same. I did read someone about it being in German.

I'm really interested, please let us all know what turns up...

German is not a problem, I have one foot in that bed already!

As an aside, I downloaded an app, 'Torque', on my Note2 and bought a Bluetooth Adopter to link it to the Obd slot of almost any car. It reads fault codes and displays engine data on the mobile, very entertaining and useful!

ps...I'm too boring and cynical to get excited P.

How long before some Russian hackers sell an app that scambles your ECU then asks for 100USD via Western Union to unlock it?
