Clock resetting by itself ?

In the last few weeks on a couple of occasions the clock on my QPV has suddenly decided to reset itself for no reason. It whizzes round and eventually stops at the correct time.

Any thoughts ?

Is this after you've left it parked up for a while? Mine does that if it hasn't been used for a few days.

I imagine it's a power saving feature, to prevent the tiny clock motor running down the huge lead-acid battery; they would have been better killing all the really power hungry stuff that doesn't shut down when it's parked!

Hmmm - not sure ! would see when it happens next time (if it ever does)

Never happened to me, although the clock does seem to lose time gradually and only reset itself when I changed from winter to summer time.

I think theres an option when resetting the digital clock on the dashboard to sink it with the analogue one - and have both updated via a GSM signal... I think thats what's going on...
