Snow foam, rinse, two bucket method wash with lambs wool mitt, rinse and then dry with towel. Polish if needed.

As above and use plenty of water and use the drying towels in a blotting motion not a circular motion.

Thanks guys,
Appreciate the advise, I am assuming the two bucket method is where you clean the sponge in fresh water.?
The paint is about 4 weeks old so I might just snow foam and rinse, see how it comes up, no point in drying it with the towels as it raining here.
Again, thanks very much for the help.

Cheers

Don't use a sponge; it'll mark the fresh paint... Lambs wool mitt as above

as the paint is fresh and just dusty, just run water over the car till clean, i wouldn't worry about snow foaming it. then as others said two bucket and gentle wash, and pat dry

some nice car history

i'd wait until it rains to really loosen it, tomorrow they say, then snow foam and jet wash before going anywhere near it with a contact method. I'm not touching mine until its been rained on and loosened all that grit. Looks like fine valve paste on there!

When I had pro valet the guy said his favorite time for washing a car was in the rain! All other times the airborne dust attaches itself to your car even while you are washing it. remember most of the damage done to paintwork excluding bird droppings and tree sap is actually when the car is washed and dried. Just follow above advice with 2 bucket method etc., and dry using hose with nothing on the end to sheet the water mostly off, reducing the need to rub with drying towel.

I wash mine when its raining as it stops water marking, didnt think anyone else did that! I use a garden blower to dry mine - stops swirls.

Ditto.......a strong jet to rinse off.........maybe do it twice.........then lots of soap and suds to get remainder dust into suspension......then wash lightly....drying as described

So, I got home this evening to find the car covered in dust spots, either the snow foam didn't work or someone is throwing dust around. I reckon the snow foam didn't lift it, I didn't get the chance to dry it off after the snow foam as it started raining and I don't have the luxury of a garage. So, what next guys, I do have a woolen mitt so will give that a go.
