It's says RS look so I take its not an RS ?.
I'd love a Mexico but doubt I'd pay the £30-40k needed to secure one now. I still want an XR2 in mint condition though, learnt to drive at 15 in one so it just oozes great memories of growing up.
With you on that one Andy. Back in the early 80's had a 3.0S and then a 2.8 special. Thought they were fabulous at time. Few years ago a mate and me thought it would be fun to buy some again. How disappointing they all were and we didn't bother, so why do I pine for a my 2 escort or my 1 xr2. On reflection we should of bought the capris!

But a Mexico was nothing special, still had the std 1.6 OHV engine, flared front arches, short bumpers and some stripes, for £30-40k I would want a twin cam at least. That sort of money would buy you a 1.6HF Fulvia or Junior Zagato both oh which are rarer and better in just about every respect.
