chrome oval grill and centre badge wanted

Ah, so you have that covered then Mark. Have you considered having them re-chromed?

Yes, the company that seems to be the one that some have used is in Ashford, Kent.... the only thing is you have to send them away for 3 weeks plus, thats 3 weeks of not driving...aghhhh!! Could be a winter job, although i like to drive it as much as poss. Any suggestions on companies for re-chroming? May be worth phoning around?

You could try Classic and Chrome in Hinkley Mark. They did a forum deal a while back on re-chroming wheel bolts.

I believe Eurospares sell them......

3 weeks for re-chroming?? I had mine done in 3 days. It was a third of the cost of a new one and came up perfect. There will undoubtedly be a place that does small batch re-chroming that can turn it around in under a week.

Thanks just had another message from a member stating he had bought his from Eurospares for £100 + vat and delivery of course.

Eurospares is showing the surround as being £575.00 plus shipping...

It could ahve been a 2nd hand one..They deal in new and old....

That makes sense then, mine had worn and pitted chrome but was structurally sound so re-chrominance was the sensible option.
