Chrome air vents - again

only just noticed this thread.
I didn't even know that there was any chrome on the air vents so I just went out and checked mine.
sure enought there is a chrome ring, even though its only about 1mm, never noticed it before.
am I one of the lucky ones as mine seems perfect.

Andrew, easy enough, just take you time. Once you have eased out the inner vent you will need to prise up the small clips that keep the outer vent casing in place. My inner vents were actuall very greasy so took a while to clean everything up, however then just had to push in the new vent/casing - looks much better IMO.
