Cheapest Lambo on the market?

The asking price was £5250. I must admit I'd forgotten it was even for sale on Ebay, as I and the other interested parties were negotiating with the dealer direct.

He's imported 6 Lamborghini tractors over the last two years or so, and all sold quickly and easily. A few weeks ago he imported a fully restored one - it arrived on Friday and he advertised it that evening. The following morning a chap turned up with the cash (about £12k) and bought it. In short, they are easy to sell, but hard to buy. (There are lots of knackered old ones in Italy, but few left in a condition that a buyer like me would want.)

If anyone wants one, I'd suggest registering your interest with him (David Honeybun of European Classic Cars, Marlborough) and have him source you one.

It's a small world Ewan. He's not that far from me and although I knew of the storage facility I had no idea about the sales side of the business.

I finally bought the Lamborghini tractor earlier today. Drove it around his yard with a silly smile on my face. Pictures to follow. Obviously I'll be driving it down to my village pub (appropriately called The Plough) in the very near future.

And my business partner bought the SM at the same time. His first Maserati (all be it with a Citroen badge on the bonnet).

Good stuff Ewan. When you do take it down to the pub, post up some pics please.

The Lambo arrived yesterday, so I quickly took a few snaps with my phone. Its not yet UK registered yet so I can't drive it on the road to go to the pub. But as soon as it is registered, I'll do that and post new pictures. IMG_2534.jpg

And yes, that is me with the silly grin.

Now parked in the barn next to an even bigger boys toy!
