Adam, for what it's worth, I agree. I used to have a dandelion yellow Evo 5. I had to sell it when I got banned for speeding; 115 down the A500 towards Wychwood. I take it you know where that is!?

yes i know that road, 115, not bad, a friend's brother had an evo 6 which was tuned to 420bhp, go down the shavington bypass and lift off in 4th from about 7000 rpm, fire came out the back of the exhaust, sold it now, he has got an evo 8 fq340 tuned to 380 bhp. That goes like the clappers.

Evo 5, pretty rare, dont see many of them about. Would like an evo at some point, just insane speed.

Impreza? Wash your mouth out sir! The quickest way to lurid understeer known to man. IMO the only thing the Impreza does better than an Evo is the noise it makes.

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this particular issue, but, while we are at it, I prefer the 4200 to the 3200! So there!

well i dont know about that, the 4200 is the best in terms of reliability, but you dont have my lights, or vents or exclusivity.....ive just started a 3200 v 4200 fight now aint i??

I dont really know but the phrase "one of the spartans who got away" kind of intimates that the survivors had to leave rather quickly!
