As those on the recent trip know, some French lowlife helped himself to one of the Centennial centre caps from my car. So a big thanks to Ross at Meridien for sourcing some from Maserati (I've bagged a couple of spares) and, applying the forum discount, a mere £50 each (ouch). The surface is actually metal but still.

There are a couple of different colours apparently but he now knows which is which!

At least you know that somewhere in France there's a far more classy modern-day Beastie Boy.

They will have done well to get the centre caps out without destroying them... maybe they should post a 'How-To' if they did.

Luckily, I think they used something that sucked it out rather than gouging it out with a screwdriver. There's no damage on the wheel itself. They didn't touch anyone else's so they've got good taste.

That's because black is under the radar. Slip in, slip out, sneak passed plod and cameras. Not some gharish fancy colour that attracts all the wrong uns. :p;):lol2:
