Not sure I would want to drive a Caterham much on the road, an Elise has all the fun and just a tad bigger
Ewan,
you could buy a caterham 21, there's always one or two for sale. Widetrack chassis but in a party frock. "Normal " soft top, slightly heavier, 650kg. I may be biased as I've had mine 20 yrs now and it doesn't do many miles in the summer but it's a nice car.
Old auction list but gives you an idea
vhpd are rare, only about 5 I think. 200bhp from a k series.

... I don’t want to wear a helmet, dress like a gimp, or die.
Morgan and Atom both too expensive. And I’ve decided the Elise is too much like a normal car.
Off to try a Caterham today. The first hurdle is seeing if I fit in, and if so, can I then get out?!
C’mon do it properly:
Always wanted one of these..
Now there is a blast from the past. I wanted one so much when I saw it at the Motorshow many years ago. Aren't they still a tight fit inside ? Still have the original brochure for a 21. Can't believe you have one. Only ever seen one on the road ever. Respect to you and do you have any pictures of her....
They did an updated Ford p100 was it? Version later. Based on the Sierra pick upThis takes me back, there was a bloke up the road had something similar to this when we were growing up, it did look super cool

Everyone fits in the wide body version....Good news - just back from a test and I fit! (In a wide bodied version, I should add.)
Now for the calls to the Caterham dealers...
