Been thinking of getting one of these as my normal indoor covers do not keep all the dust and dirt blowing around my garage off the paint Has anyone got any day to day experience with regards to dust and humidity?

Thanks

I have one, that I occasionally use in winter. Mine is an older one meaning I have to unzip it all to remove the car, which can be a pain. I think the later ones can stay up which would be a bonus. Once the car is in I have no issues with dust or humidity it has a constant flow through.

They still do the drive onto mat and pull over the top cover and zip. The newer has the poles inside to keep it up and allow drive in/out. Save having to drag a big plastic bag over your car and finding somewhere to put it also.

I use a few of exactly this model, the veloce with the poles. They have zipped panels both sides for access and at the back to drive in and out easily and to pass trickle charger cables thru.

use 365 days a year and keeps everything bone dry in all weathers and humidity plus no dust and no risk of rodents chewing on wires or making nests. Uses negligible electric.

Had the oldest for 7 years and all working as new. Only problem is the transparent plastic panels can get stiff in cold weather and folds when opening can lead to cracks. Just repair with clear plastic repair patches supplied.

I have an air chamber, some 10 years now, and highly recommended. Tent frame type with zip up doors. Great for dust prevention and car doesn’t always have to be clean when putting away. Airflow seems very good.

Cheers guys. I will get the garage floor painted whilst car is away and look at ordering one. They are cheaper than I expected tbh.
