Carbon Fibre for GTS?

I was just wondering if its possible to get the following aftermarket and fitted or if they have to be installed at factory?

It would be for a 2013 or 2014 facelift model.

MC Sport Line interior carbon package - evo 1 (carbon fibre centre console and door sill plates with MC Sport Line logo) (MCI1)
MC Sport Line interior carbon package - evo 2 (carbon fibre shift paddles and instrument surround) (MCI2)

I was unsure if things like the dash are too difficult a job to change over and also the side sills totally glued into place or if the carbon sills replace over the top of the originals etc.

Has anyone got any info or changed any of the above?

I would think the gear surround centre console and paddles would be the easiest change.

If so any ideas on pricing and people that have done it?

Wow that would be pushing on 5 figures. Might be better to buy a car with it all on

Paddles alone OEM are 2,400.
F1 gear surround 500. Door and window plates I have never seen aftermarket....

I personally would SOR your car and look for one which has everything on you want.

I loved the carbon in mine but it's personal taste

I think I would just like to know as example if anyone has purchased the below on its own, where from and pricing and if anyone has fitted it.

Each to their own, as they say. My car has no carbon, which is precisely what I wanted.

No absolutely, I think people either love or hate carbon and the car is equally a beautiful without any, put it this way if any is damaged I would dread to think on the repair bill so it's one less thing to think about.

Ahh- it was just Dave's random allocation of posts again. It had no relation to the thread!

I do like it - but have no idea why it's so stupidly expensive. The car I am soon to collect has carbon options (factory cost) worth more than A used ghibli- HOW can they justify that. When it comes to resale, it probably adds on about 10% of the factory price. Therefore- its financial madness to buy a new one and spec it up to that extent .
Having said that it's probably financial madness to buy any of these cars - so it's just degrees of madness

I don't hate carbon by any means, I just think it has a functional place in machines that are designed to be light weight or in parts that are using the material because it has advantages over others in that application. The GT is not light weight by any means and so it's just bling with no purpose.

You can have too much carbon and sometimes it's purely decorative, but I do think that, like alcantara, it's a material that is associated with sportiness. Sure, the GS is 99% the same car as the 4200, but the carbon wheel and interior parts make it feel a bit more like a sports car and less of a GT. To my eyes, the blue Strad with all the carbon bits that's on the market at the moment looks awesome, as do the carbon bits on a blue MCV (I'm sure Ewan would agree with that...). The blue and black combo looks beautiful and aggressive. A bit of carbon on black cars also spices things up.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to be associated with the chrome wrap and carbon everything crowd though...

carbon fibre and other high price options are the reason I love buying second hand cars. The original purchaser goes crazy, helped by a smart salesman, and options 20% up the cars price, whereas usually on the used market you only pay a fraction of that for the same goodies.

also, there are two kinds of use of carbon: the stuff that really makes the car lighter, by REPLACING the original part, or the dress-up stuff that just covers the original part, in effect, making the car heavier. The later I could never pay extra for.
