Need to change something this year, same old last 5 years basically.
Old Range Rover loving friend picked us up this afternoon in his new FF Rangie D350 Autobiography. I drove it happily to another friends party (fully comp thanks to my Locktons Maserati insurance), it only had 350 miles on the clock since he picked it up new last week. They are very good, £120k good mind, makes all my cars tech wise ancient!

I had a Khamsin about 14 years ago, but sold it just before they quadrupled in value. Hey ho!
It was a very lovely car, fun to drive and reliable. Who knows, it may well win the fight.
Of my options, the Khamsin is my wife’s favourite...

I know that car well, it's lovely.

My plans for 2023 (well, the next half hour) now include ordering the starboard side fuel pump for the Spyder...as it was the culprit, despite the petrol (yay, me) draining out the port side. THAT was because the fuel line itself was cracked on the left side. So.

In 2022, we swapped a Suburban for an Acadia (Courtney needs three rows...and Alfa and Mas don't make those) and the DeathRAM (see other posts) for the Sierra X. And got the Spyder to go with the Coupe because I had to keep a ragtop in the stable. Therefore, the balance of the new year will be spent on installing performance pieces and parts (springs, sway bars, 19" GS wheels and tyres, sport cats, cat-less headers, and ECU...all of which are laying here, mocking me) on the Coupe. As well as replacing the shift cover and dash leather, and installing the Brassworks heater box...all on the Coupe.

The Spyder will be getting a new top...as well as window regulators sorted; both fuel pumps replaced; the good wheels and tyres from the Coupe...and all the cosmetic, non-paint issues addressed. I really want to get the Spyder road ready before I take the Coupe offline for its overhaul.

Then, I gotta see if @Ewan will hook me up with his Lambo tractor connection...

Easy peasy :):

"True wealth is a lack of desire." My poverty continues. Maybe a replacement for the Merc E350 workhorse? I too would love a Range Rover.

Happy New Year Ewan and all - first day of retirement from the corporate day job for me. Bit like getting divorced, poorer but happier.
Well done, John! I'll miss seeing you at events around the place, so we'll need to find car-related stuff instead.

No idea but when I get it you can walk back from the pub! Incidentally I have 2 Strads, GTV 3.2 V6, Opel GT, Alfa Brera Spider and the beloved R14 so phooey to you sir :p

It’s a Citroen, you’ll probably both be walking!
Probably just jinxed it now, I’m mainly hoping I don’t have to buy another car.
