Looking at the web Car Fest are open to clubs exhibiting their cars which I presume means free entry?

Are we going to submit an application on behalf of SM? Happy to do it as I live overlooking the circuit at Oulton but unfortunately my pass excludes Car Fest....for now!

Anybody thinking of going?

Max,
We discussed this last year but were little late to sort it. I will definitely be going, either to have my own stand and take 6 or 7 cars or go as part of the SM group and take a couple of cars. I'll be going for the weekend anyway so count me in. I'm going to inquire about business charges and also about the car club arrangements asap.

I would be happy to bring my car for the weekend either way Dicky as discussed at this years Carfest :)

Will be a while now till I get to drive the 3200 as I fractured my lower left leg in two places ski touring two days ago and being off piste and miles from civilisation the nice Helicopter man had to come and pick me up and take me to hospital :-(
Can't wait to get that invoice next week. On the positive my leg should be fixed by the time Carfest comes round :)

Cheers

Lee

All tickets soldout today so if we can sort an SM stand that woud be good. Dicky let me know if you need assistance gettinginfo etc from oulton. Although I would guess all arrangements will be direct with carfest?

Let me know happy to help and show my car on your stand or SM?

We went as a family to Carfest North last year, fantastic weekend, great for kids loads for them to do, great for dad, petrol head heaven, great for mum, fantastic food and music. It was win, win and win.

This year we are on holiday for Carfest North, but instead the Mrs has bought weekend family tickets for the South instead over the bank holiday. As last year, we have booked a proper camp site a few miles away. Like to have the car next to the tent and electric hookup!

It really is something to look forward too.

Found this on another car forum about exhibiting:

Thank you very much for your interest in CarFest 2013.

As part of this year's event plans we intend to invite up 50 Car Clubs to showcase seven of their best cars at CarFest.

The CarFest events take place at Oulton Park, Cheshire and Laverstoke Park, Hampshire so please indicate if you wish to attend one or both events. However we understand the club may have different members, or a regional club local to the events, so we would greatly appreciate if you could pass on the relevant form to colleagues local to each of the CarFest destinations.

There is a £450 entry fee PER EVENT and this includes:
- Each club will be allocated seven car spaces for a club stand
- A total of 14 passes (two passes per car) which allow each entry on each of the three days of CarFest (nb these passes can be exchanged, via the Car Club co-ordinator, to those only coming for one or two days)
- Complimentary Camping pitch for the Car Club co-ordinator (nb club member camping pitches can be bought for £25 per night in the Crew Camping area)
- *3m x 3m gazebo (we do not accept club stand structures, flags or branding)
- £50 donation to Children in Need

*We do not provide covered space for the cars or furniture however we will supply a 3m x 3m gazebo, positioned next to your cars, for you and your colleagues to make use of.

Please complete and sign the attached form and return to me within a week if possible so that we can include you in the Car Club processing immediately.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes

Melissa

Dicky ill volunteer to drive for you and if you need another you met Jonny the other day?

Thanks Max, won't you need to drive your own or are you walking and staggering home over the fields? I have 3 friends who do casual work for me too and my wife also, I'll have to see how many cars I have in stock near the time but I am going to look into which route to take re SM or my own, it will be cost dependent.
I will keep it noted though, thanks again.

I'm happy to sort out the contingent for the north. I reckon we'd need 2 pitches of 7 cars. If we fill it it's only £32 each for a 3 day ticket which can be swapped around etc. I reckon that's the best approach. Please add your names if you want to go. I'm not a forum moderator or official so if BennyD wants to do it that's fine by me. So far:
LeeH, Dickygrace, Max, Marios, Safrane, AdamN...
Sure there'll be loads more.

Dicky I have some great Easy up tents ( 1 x 3mx3m and a 6mx3m ) I could bring with sides.

Are we allowed to bring gas BBQ ? Happy to use my work truck as carriage storage for the weekend ( long wheel base VW Transporter )

Sounds superb Lee, if we can BBQ then I'm a happy man, Maseratis, meat and beers. Not a bad plan. I'll get back to you all this week. I'm on the case.
