CAR AUCTIONS

Yeah, I thought that was a very reasonably auction price for a Cat S LHD car with ugly bumpers on it. It's now back up with a Buy it Now of £54k.

Early carb coupe coming up next, but having had a quick look I think there could be some rust issues to deal with ...

Would take it at that price, honestly...$56k US...haven't seen one that low here

That QP IV Evo would be a great buy. Low owners, very low mileage, the Shamal V8 engine, and a manual gearbox. It ticks every box!
If anyone on here wants a QP IV, go for it, as a better option will not come along.
If I didn't already have a V8 QP IV I'd buy it. Simple as that.
Sold for £15,300. Bargain. I’d have happily paid a bit more if I was in the market for one currently.

Lowest I've seen transact of late has been in the 70s USD...and that's rare.
being a left hooker already was thinking someone should buy that and ship to Italy as they also fetch more out there, cat marker would soon disappear once on Italian plates

Agree after all the attention and investment that was poured all those years struggle to understand why they practically give them away.

Not expensive at the minute and just checked the bidding and not seen @Ewan in there.
Ha! I'll not be bidding as I already have one (but the V8 version and with half the mileage).
But great to see that this car has done 146,000 miles as it shows they can take it.

Very nice Andy.
Having had older Jaguars and now having the X300 it does everything I want in a Car.
It looks Classic but Modern enough that you can drive it for hours on end like when I drove it back from Spain to France.
Plenty of parts availability and they are not expensive either.

I'm hoping this jumps in price before the end of the auction, it ticks a lot of boxes and early S1 or S2 XJ6 platform, a V12 and it's here in Ireland so no additional duties. Downsides it's tidy but not perfect, lots of little jobs would need to be done but as a useable classic luxury saloon with a V12 would take some beating
